What the buyer is asking for

Great Places Housing Group (GPHG) operates a warehouse Distribution Centre in Trafford Park, Manchester, through which it provides building repairs and other materials to repairs and grounds maintenance operatives and other staff as required. These materials may be distributed out of the warehouse, delivered direct to site, or picked up by operatives from suppliers' premises as appropriate. GPHG is establishing an open framework for the provision of these goods, made up of 11 Lots defined by the category of goods required. GPHG expects that Lots will likely be re-opened at different frequencies (for instance, high volume & high cost lots may be re-opened annually, whilst other may be re-opened bi- or tri- annually).

• Electrical Factors

  Cables, wiring and containment systems; switches, sockets and distribution components; lighting products and lamps; testing equipment; electrical fittings, connectors and associated installation accessories; electrical heaters and radiators; power tools.

• Paint & Decorating Materials

  Emulsion, silk and gloss paints for wood, metal and plaster, including fungicidal, mould- and stain-blocking coatings; brushes, rollers, scrapers and sanding materials; caulks, sealants, fillers and general decorating ancillaries.

• Roofing Materials

  Roof tiles, slates, roofing fixings, flashings and weatherproofing products; associated tools and accessories.

• General Builders' Merchants

  Cement, aggregates and concrete products; plaster, plasterboard and insulation; general construction materials, consumables and site ancillaries; screws, nails, glues & other fixings, fillers and sealants; power tools.

• Plumbers' Merchants

  Pipes, fittings and valves in plastic and metal; sanitary ware and fixtures including taps, traps and wastes; electric showers; heating components; sealants and jointing compounds; plumbing tools and installation ancillaries.

• Hardware & Ironmongery

  Locks, hinges and door furniture; brackets, chains and metal fittings; access hardware; general-purpose ironmongery and associated accessories.

• Cleaning and Janitorial Products

  Cleaning chemicals and detergents for domestic and commercial use; disinfectants and sanitation products; wipes, cloths and mops; waste management products; cleaning equipment and consumables.

• General Timber Supplies

  Structural and treated timber; sheet materials including plywood, MDF and chipboard; mouldings and joinery timber; fencing and landscaping timber; associated fixings and woodcare products.

• Windows & Doors

  Internal and external doors; window units in timber, uPVC and aluminium; glazing products; frames, seals and fittings; and associated hardware, fixings and installation accessories.

• Tiling Supplies

  Wall and floor tiles in ceramic, porcelain and natural stone; adhesives, grouts and leveling compounds; trims and edging; tile cutters and tools; and associated installation ancillaries.

• Building Plastics

  uPVC and plastic building products including bathroom panels, cladding, fascias, soffits and guttering; drainage and ducting systems; sealants, fixings and other associated accessories.

Payment terms

All invoices must be sent to invoices@greatplaces.org.uk, or such other email address as shall be specified, quoting a valid purchase order number. The details on the invoice must reflect the details provided during supplier account set-up, and match the purchase order value. Subject to the Employer's right to withhold or dispute any amount, the Employer will pay the Supplier within 30 calendar days from receipt of an undisputed invoice.
