What the buyer is asking for
Non-exclusive framework agreement for the supply of Medical Pulp Associated Products via the Stock, eDirect and Direct route to market. This includes but is not limited to; a range of products that are used to assist with the toileting of patients, collection of samples and aid the administration of procedures. The ranges of products available under the framework agreement include; Disposable Medical Pulp, Medical Pulp support products, Macerators, Bedpan Washers and Absorbent products for use with Medical Pulp. This framework agreement is for a total of 48 months. Precise quantities are unknown, however, it is anticipated that expenditure will be in the region of £120,000,000 ex VAT / £144,000,000 inc VAT throughout the duration of this framework agreement. This is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement.

Non-exclusive framework agreement for the supply of Medical Pulp and Support Products. This may include but is not limited to • Bedpan Liners; • Bedpan Slippers; • Bedpan Covers; • Commode Pans; • Detergent Proof Washbowls; • General Purpose Bowls; • Kidney Dishes; • Measuring Jugs; • Sputum Receivers; • Trays; • Urine Sampling Cups; • Female Urinals; • Square and round shaped male urinals • Flat pack urinals (male or female); • Catheter waste collection; • Mid Stream Urine Analysis Vessels; • Paper Medicine Pots; • Plastic supports for pulp pans; • Storage/dispensing racks for pulp products; and • Urine weighing scales. Tenderers may tender for one, more than one or all of the product lines listed within this lot. NHS Supply Chain intends to award all Tenderers who meet or exceed a hurdle of 50% per Lot.

Non-exclusive framework agreement for the supply of Macerators and Associated Products. The scope of this Lot includes the supply of Macerator equipment including delivery, installation, commissioning, disposal, servicing and warranty elements, either purchased with the product or subsequently, along with associated consumables such as cleaning products.

Non-exclusive framework agreement for the supply of Bedpan and Associated Products. The scope of this Lot includes the supply of Bedpan Washer equipment including delivery, installation, commissioning, disposal, servicing and warranty elements, either purchased with the product or subsequently, along with associated consumables such as cleaning products and re-usable bedpans of any material.

Non-exclusive framework agreement for the supply of Super Absorbent Products. The scope of this lot is for the supply of Super Absorbent Gels, Pads and Bags used to soak up bodily fluids and spills such as urine, blood, vomit and faecal matter. Tenderers may tender for one, more than one or all of the product lines listed within this lot. NHS Supply Chain intends to award all Tenderers who meet or exceed a hurdle of 50% per Lot.
