Mains replacement & Associated works
What the buyer is asking for
This QUDM will provide a platform for Local Delivery Partners (LDP's) to support the delivery of our Planned Gas Mains and Services works, primarily focused on the delivery of Mains Replacement (MRP) and Non-Mains Replacement Programs (Non-MRP) and other related gas mains and services works, including but not limited to customer connections, reinforcements, built-over mains, services and associated works. The main replacements works will comprise of excavation, back fill, and reinstatement to facilitate Mains and Service replacement and abandonment. The scope of the gas works may be design and build or build only and can range from either one-off projects to small programmes of work.

- Gas Pipelines Mains and Services
Gas pipeline and mains services (up to the meter).
- Electric and Gas Meter Box Installation
Supply and install externally fitted gas and electricity meter box covers or over boxes. Repair and maintenance services of measuring apparatus
- Gas Safety Inspection
Inspection and testing of gas appliances and pipe work to ensure compliance with Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations for Landlord Certificate purposes. Technical inspection and testing services.
- Gas Installations
Gas Safe (or CORGI for Northern Ireland) registered installers of all types of gas facilities. Gas-fitting installation work.
- Directional Drilling
Horizontal directional drilling for pipe, duct or cable installation underground without disturbing surface structures. Trenchless services installation under motorways, highways, waterways or railways. General construction work for pipelines
- Impact Moling
Creation of borehole by percussive mole (soil displacement hammer), compacting and displacing ground rather than excavation and removal, including installation of new pipe or conduit as part of process. General construction work for pipelines

Laying asphalt surfacing (thin layer technology) for roads. Various surface works.
