JHG - Window Cleaning Contract (Lot 1- North, Lot 2 - Tameside, Lot 3 - Midlands)

What the buyer is asking for

Jigsaw Homes Group has three operational areas which are as follows; • Jigsaw Homes North (Lancashire/Merseyside/Cheshire/Greater M/cr) • Jigsaw Homes Midlands (East Midlands) • Jigsaw Homes Tameside (Greater Manchester) The service provider shall be required to have the skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications necessary to deliver an effective programme of Window Cleaning, report on the findings and recommend all appropriate actions and produce a completion certificate to properties owned and managed by Jigsaw Homes Group (JHG) including; • communal (& public) areas to residential properties; • JHG owned commercial properties; • new build properties (from developer handover onwards); • Any other buildings for which JHG have a responsibility for. This service is currently managed by a couple of contractors throughout the North, Tameside & Midlands regions. It is our intention to outsource the whole of the Asset Management Communal Window Cleaning Service and split it into three Lots. The first, Lot 1 – North which covers parts of Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire & Merseyside, the second, Lot 2 – Tameside area and the third, Lot 3 – Midlands. Bidders can apply for one Lot, two or all three Lots. The initial contract for 2 years with an option of an additional two year to a total of four years and consists of the following number per Lot; • Lot 1 – North • Lot 2 – Tameside • Lot 3 - Midlands JHG intends to enter into a Contract, please refer to Section 8 – Terms of Agreement for further details. The successful Contractor(s) will be expected to mobilise to our timescale and be operational by 1st April 2027, please refer to Section 1.10 the Tender Process Summary below for more details. The initial contract period runs until 31st March 2029 and if successful an extension of a year based on performance and by mutual agreement.
