What the buyer is asking for
This procurement is to establish a multi-lot, multi-supplier framework agreement for the provision of Movement Services across Germany and wider-Europe. The framework will be broken down in to the following lots: Lot 1: Bus and Coach Lot 2: Road Transport (HET & LET) Lot 3: Road Transport - ADR Lot 4: Port Services, Emden Lot 5: Port Services Northern Germany excluding Emden Lot 6: Biological Cleaning Lot 7: Provision of Escort Vehicles (Begleitfahrzeuge) Full details of each of the lots and how to bid for them are included in the attached Invitation to Tender (DEFFORM 47).

- Bus and Coach£83m
To arrange transportation of personnel from A to B as per Task Order. This can include to and-or from the UK to Exercise locations within or outside of Germany. To and from Training Areas, Exercise Locations, Airports, and Ports of entry, with or without baggage. Including provision of baggage trailers or trucks where required.
- Road Transport (HET & LET)£83m
To arrange transportation of Heavy Materiel (equipment and Vehicles) and Light Materiel (equipment, ISO containers or Vehicles) from A to B as per Task Order. This can include to and or from the UK to exercise locations within or outside of Germany. To and from Training Areas, Exercise locations, airports, Ports of entry.
- Road Transport - ADR£83m
To arrange transportation of DG Materiel (ie Classes 1-9, including Ammunition) from A to B as per Tasking Order. This can include to and or from the UK to Exercise locations within or outside of Germany.
- Port Services, Emden£83m
To provide wet and dry services at port of entry / exit to safely embark or disembark vessels at Emden Port; this may also require the provider to provide administrative services to the Port Task Group over a fixed period as detailed in the Task Order. To include services such as feeding and accommodation of Port Task Group personnel, provision of MHE and Cranes, Storage, and Stevedores.
- Port Services Northern Germany excluding Emden£83m
To provide wet and dry services at port of entry / exit to safely embark or disembark vessels at ports in Northern Germany (excluding Emden Port); this may also require the provider to provide administrative services to the Port Task Group over a fixed period as detailed in the Task Order. To include services such as feeding and accommodation of Port Task Group personnel, provision of MHE and Cranes, Storage, and Stevedores.
- Biological Cleaning£83m
To provide static and mobile services to biologically clean vehicles in accordance with local health regulations.
- Provision of Escort Vehicles (Begleitfahrzeuge)£83m
To provide Host Nation escort vehicles with qualified staff to escort Out of Gauge vehicles in accordance with their Host Nation (Vemags) movement instructions from town, county, or the Police in accordance with local regulations.
