What the buyer is asking for
Durham County Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified provider to deliver property valuation services in support of the Council's Financial Assistance Policy and Deferred Payment Agreements. The successful provider will be required to undertake internal and external property inspections and provide full independent market valuations in accordance with RICS professional standards, including future-value estimates following improvement works where required. Valuations will be commissioned on an ad-hoc basis, with the provider responsible for liaising with relevant property contacts to arrange access and providing the completed market valuation report to the Council within three weeks of the request.
