What the buyer is asking for

The Professional Services Framework comprises five Lots covering a range of specialist consultancy and advisory services required to support the Council's property, maintenance and capital programmes. The Council intends to utilise the Framework for commissions of varying scale, complexity and value, from individual specialist advice through to support for larger refurbishment, improvement and capital projects. The scope of Services to be delivered under the Framework Agreement will be a range of construction works and related professional services including: Lot 1 -Multidisciplinary Lot 2 - Conservation Architect Lot 3 - Asbestos Consultant Lot 4- Specialist Services: Fire Engineer Lot 5 - Specialist Services: Structural Consultant

• Multi-disciplinary£2.0m

  Multi-disciplinary construction consultancy: project management, CDM Principal Designer, building surveying, quantity surveying and contract administration with access to wider design disciplines

• Conservation Architect£2.0m

  Conservation architecture for listed and historic buildings: surveys, condition reports, design, listed building consents and contract administration.

• Asbestos Consultancy£200k

  Asbestos consultancy: management and refurbishment/demolition surveys, air testing, four-stage clearance, analysis and asbestos management advice.

• Fire Engineer£400k

  Fire engineering: fire strategies, fire risk assessments (FRA) and external wall appraisals (FRAEW) for commercial buildings.

• Structural Consultant£2.0m

  Structural engineering consultancy: structural surveys and condition assessments, structural calculations and analysis, design of alterations and new structural works, remedial and repair advice, preparation of specifications and drawings, and structural input to refurbishment, conservation and demolition projects.
