What the buyer is asking for
Frinton & Walton Town Council invites tenders for the design, supply, and installation of a complete roof over-cladding/renewal solution at The Columbine Community Centre, Walton-on-the-Naze, CO14 8PZ, including full conversion of the existing internal (concealed) rainwater goods to a new external gutter and downpipe system, associated structural survey and sign-off, fire protection, and all associated flashings, fixings, and making good. Full requirements are set out in the Tender Specification and supporting documents issued with this notice. Attendance at a mandatory site visit is a condition of tendering - see "Conditions of participation" below and Section 13 of the Tender Specification for details.

What you must already have

Tenderers must hold, or be able to obtain before contract award, the minimum insurance levels set out in the Tender Specification, Section 11. Tenderers must attend the mandatory site visit (Tender Specification, Section 13) and hold current health and safety accreditation (e.g. CHAS, SafeContractor, Constructionline, or equivalent). Under s.85 of the Procurement Act 2023, these are assessed as part of evaluating tenders received, not as a pre-qualification stage.
