What the buyer is asking for

Bangor University wishes to employ a security Contractor, who can assist the University in delivering a safe and welcoming environment for its customers and to supplement the existing internal security team. The requirement is in two parts, 1) a daily, SIA licensed security presence in the University Arts Centre (Pontio) 2) security staff for ad-hoc additional SIA licensed Security for events, which may include traffic management, static guarding, stewarding, door supervisor roles and similar as outlined below. The period of this contract will be for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 x 12 month periods. The contract will be subject to bimonthly review.

What you must already have

  Turnover of approx £100k per annum. Acid test ration 1:1 or greater. Insurances of £5m employer and £5m public liablity for each and every claim not in the aggregate

• technical

  Refercences will be requested from winning bidder as well as SIA certification. SIA Accreditation and ability to provide Welsh speaking staff for Pontio duties and other events. Bidders must supply staff who can converse fluently in both WELSH and ENGLISH
