Live tenders / Train Information Services Limited
British Sign Language Customer Information Service
What the buyer is asking for
RDG is looking to secure a supplier to deliver a National Rail British Sign Language solution that can consume approved industry data sources, process them and provide a BSL translation that the system's users can display on their digital channels, in station screens, and onboard screens. RDG is looking to put in place a contract for 1 year, with the intention of extending the contract for a further 2 years (1+1) upon funding confirmation. The contract value for this tender covers both the Capex and Opex amounts. RDG is aiming to have the solution in place for implementation on the National Rail Enquiries channels by the 30th September 2027; however, bidders must indicate whether this timeline is suitable in their responses. The contract end will be dictated by project go-live date, therefore the date indicated in this Tender notification is subject to change.
